1)Foster Care or Emergency Housing - Provide a temporary home for a Border Collie(s) and help prepare them for adoption into permanent homes. Must be at least 18 years old. Please describe the extent to which you can care for rescue dogs, and what limits you may have (i.e. can train or attend classes with dog, or, only puppies, desexed, or adult dogs, etc)
2)Transportation of Dogs - transport dogs by car or air to rescuers or to adoptive homes (Describe the region in which you are willing to travel)
3)Mailing or Newsletter Assistance
4)Border Collie Advocacy - Scheduling and commitment are flexible. Provide clerical and research support for Border Collie Rescue, campaigns, write letters, create interest, and make phone calls on urgent issues. (Describe the activities you are willing to do, along with your skills)
5)Computer Services - Scheduling and commitment are flexible. Provide support for Border Collie Rescue Web pages. Help rescuers with computer problems. Create publications or programs for rescue use. (Describe the type of computer skills you possess along with the projects you are willing to undertake)
6)Rescue Advertising - Scheduling and commitment are flexible. Spread the word about Border Collie Rescue via the Internet, magazine articles, newspaper ads, or television promos. (Describe the activities you are willing to do, along with your skills)
7)Special Events - Assist with fundraising events such as booths at community festivals. (Describe the activities you are willing to do and the distance you are willing to cover)
8)Fundraising - Write grants, contact businesses and individuals for contributions, design fundraising campaigns. (Describe the activities you are willing to do and any special skills you have to offer)
9)Home Visits - Visiting potential adopters.(Describe the area you are willing to cover)
